Maryland hunters harvested 125 achromatic bears during a six-day play that concluded Saturday.
According to nan Maryland Department of Natural Resources, nan harvest tally was higher than nan five-year mean of 104 bears.
Gender breakdown: 73 female and 52 antheral achromatic bears.
The state’s 21st yearly hunt was conducted successful Allegany, Frederick, Garrett, and Washington counties. The heaviest achromatic bear, changeable successful Frederick County, weighed 650 pounds.
